Our Ministries
Kids
Sundays
We offer Sunday School classes every Sunday morning at 9:15am for children of all ages. These classes aim to instill a foundational understanding of Jesus and the Gospel through Bible stories and fun activities.
Four and 5 year olds meet on the first floor of the Education building. Classes for 1st through 3rd graders and 4th through 6th graders meet on the second floor.
Children 3 years old and younger can be cared for in our preschool and nursery department.
Wednesdays
Every Wednesday night at 6:00pm, our children meet in the Family Life Center for our 180 children's ministry. 180 is a time of worship, Bible study and games specifically designed to teach exciting biblical truth to kids K-6th grade.
Summer Camp
Each summer our children attend a Children's Camp that is usually for grades 2nd-6th.
Youth
Sundays
Students 7th through 12th grade meet for a Bible study each Sunday morning in the Youth Room at 9:15am located in the basement of the Education building.
Our youth leadership is passionate about challenging students to apply God's Word to every aspect of their lives.
Wednesdays
On Wednesday evenings at 6:00pm, students also meet in the Youth Room for a meal and a time of biblical teaching and fellowship.
Summer Camp
Our students attended MFuge Camp each summer. We have attended camp at Belmont University in Nashville, University of Mobile (Mobile, AL), Union University in Jackson, TN, as well as in Orlando, FL and Ridgecrest, NC.
Adults
Sundays
We offer several classes for adults on Sunday mornings, all at 9:15am. There is a Young Adult class for young singles or married couples and our New Beginnings class for median aged adults. Both of these classes meet on the second floor of the Education Building.
Those in their 50s and 60s, as well as senior adults, meet every Sunday morning in their own classes as well. They meet on the first floor of the Education building.
There is also a Women's Class that meets in a classroom just outside the sanctuary.
These groups are built to complement and expand upon our corporate Sunday morning worship. Each class provides a time of intentional fellowship and prayer. We believe this lays the foundation for building a supportive and loving family in Christ.
Wednesdays
On the third Wednesday of each month, our XYZ senior adult ministry meets for lunch and a special time of encouragement and community. This might involve guest speakers, trips to local concerts and restaurants or other outings.
For more information, contact the church office at (870) 295-9131).
Also, on Wednesday mornings, there is a Women's Bible Study group that meets at 10:30am in the Family Life Center. For more information, contact BJ McClendon or the Church Office.
Choir
Our adult choir leads Sunday morning worship and performs musicals during special services throughout the year. They meet on Sundays at 4:00 p.m.
